Micromax's Yu Yureka

Micromax's new Yu brand of Cyanogen OS-based smartphones were unveiled on Thursday with the launch of Yu Yureka. The smartphone, priced at Rs. 8,999, will go up for registrations via Amazon on Friday (2pm IST), and it will start shipping in the second week of January.

Micromax's Yu Yureka smartphone features dual-SIM support, with slots for Micro-SIM cards (4G+3G). It bears a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone notably also features Cat. 4 4G LTE connectivity with up to 150Mbps download speeds and 50Mbps upload speeds, apart from Band 40 and Band 3 support.

It runs on a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939), coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Yu Yureka bears a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor rear autofocus camera with an f/2.2 aperture and flash. A front-facing 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera is also onboard.

The Yureka comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and sports a 2500mAh Li-Po battery claiming talk time up to 8 hours, standby time up to 310 hours, video playback time of up to six hours, and gaming up to 4 hours.The Cyanogen OS 11 build is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and an Android 5.0 Lollipop-based build is promised. Interestingly, Sharma clarified that the Yureka phone will feature an unlockable bootloader, kernel source, and full Android build tree.

linshof i8 : The German Innovation in the field of Smart Phones

Introducing the new game player in the field of smart phones with some oddly looks but beautifully designed Linshof i8, smart phone designed by a German company can also be called as High-end hardware with mid-range price.

In 2014, One Plus One can be said a flag-ship killer phone but in the coming future this smart phone will change not only the software specification part but also the design of the smart phones. 

Now let us look the features provided by this smart phone:
The smartphone will feature a 5" 1920x1080 pixel Super AMOLED display and 80GB of onboard storage, which is quite spacious. At the core there will be an octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz. 3GB of RAM, a 13 MP HD rear camera (28mm Wide-angle, fast low-light F1.8, Sony CMOS sensor) and 8 MP front camera and a 3100mAh battery.
A lot of other bells and whistles are included in the press release and the i8 will supposedly come equipped with GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, electronic compass, gyroscope, HDMI 1.4 with 3D support, USB port, NFC and WiFi/ LTE (4G) wireless.
Linshof also states, that the device will be running Android 5.0 Lollipop with an accelerated Linshof UI. The company stresses quite a lot on the benefits of this software environment, boasting things like: "No added trialware. No in-phone advertisements—the clean and lean system has been carefully tweaked for this specific hardware." Linshof UI will supposedly also feature an optional tile-based layout, as seen in the renditions of the i8.
The press release announces a price tag of precisely $380 and the Linshof website features a release date of Q1 2015.
