Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Review

Lenovo's new flagship, Vibe Z2 Pro, is a great choice if you want to get a phablet with great specs. It's a dual-sim, high end device, and the price seem very reasonable to what it can do. Although Lenovo is new to the smart phones field but the signs seem promising , Lenovo is mostly known for being a major name in the computers and laptops industry, but it's still a new name in the field of smart phones, but it seems that it has a promising future so far. Most of the previous Lenovo devices were considered to be mid range ones, but today we will check their new Flagship the Vibe z2 Pro.

Camera and Internal Storage

The Lenovo smart phone comes with an impressive imaging department comprising of a 16 MP rear camera coupled with auto focus, LED flash, BSI sensor and optical image stabilization for an enhanced low light performance. The handset is termed a selfie focused smart phone with a 5 MP selfie camera that is teamed up with anti-distortion lens to capture stunning self portrait shots without any distortion. These imaging aspects make the Vibe Z2 Pro a superior smart phone with advanced aspects.

The internal storage is 32 GB to store all the necessary content and apps. But the drawback is that the smart phone does not have an expandable micro SD card slot that will support additional storage. Considering the price, it shouldn’t be very difficult to overlook the absence of SD card slot.

Processor and Battery

The chipset employed in the Vibe Z2 Pro is a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC with 64 ticking at 2.5 GHz clock speed. The processor will be backed by Adreno 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM to handle the graphic handling and multi-tasking requirements of the users. These hardware aspects make the handset better in terms of performance keeping it on par with the rivals.

The battery capacity is a juicy 4,000 mAh and the Lenovo smart phone with superior specifications will need such a superior battery to help the device achieve a decent backup. Lenovo claims 3 days with active usage and that is saying something.

Display and Features

The Lenovo smart phone is given a spacious 6 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a pixel density of 490 pixels per inch. Being an IPS LCD panel, this screen can definitely provide better viewing angles and color reproduction. Despite being such a large screen, the incorporation of increased pixels make the display completely readable and suitable for all the tasks.Based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro comes with connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS.
